Have you ever wondered why there are so many Christian denominations and beliefs in our world today?
There are so many different ways; each professing that they are correct and may each have Truth within them. There are even those who believe that everyone is correct and that we should all combine faiths because we are all serving the same God, and that there are many ways to Heaven and eternal peace. Which way is the closest to the original Church started by Jesus Christ and His early followers?
The Bible declares that there is One God and One Way to God.
You can search for God and not find Truth; but if you search for Truth, you will always find God. (Rev. John Wolfram)
The Bible is the only Book in history that has proven itself over and over, as the supernatural and true Word of God, and will of God. (God's will is what God wants, and can also mean a will as in a will and testament).
Even common sense declares that there can only be one truthful way to God since God obviously knows what He wants. Surely it isn't left up to us to decide the manner to enter into covenant with the Creator, or whether or not the Lord accepts us. So with which of these multiple available ways do we go? Which is the correct way that is endorsed by the Creator Himself? Can we really have a covenant relationship with God our Creator, or are the agnostics correct in that God cannot be understood or approached? If a covenant has been made, how do we enter into it?
This project isn’t designed to criticize or insult anyone’s Christian faith nor belief, but it is designed to show the history of where each “Christian denomination” came from, and then find all of the scriptures in their context discussing each doctrine; so as to allow a seeker a way to come to a determination as to the closest to the originally endorsed doctrine and way. As the Bible says. "Study to show yourself approved unto God …" (2 Timothy 2:15). We are also not examining every faith that man presently has in this world. We are focused on the supernatural Book that God Himself has endorsed through Jesus Christ, the apostles, and the prophets. Jesus Christ emphatically declared that no one comes to God but by Him, (John 14:6).
What else did Jesus Christ teach? Did He endorse a certain way of believing or doctrine? Did Jesus promise an experience that would settle the matter in our own hearts and souls? Since God’s first creation of mankind involved the fact that He touched us and formed us, and then breathed His life into us, any reestablishment of the broken covenant may also involve an experience and a touch.
Which is the church that He is coming back for? Is there a present day doctrine that matches the doctrines of the Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ, the Apostles and the prophets which all match completely? Our team is determined to verify each historical fact and present it in an unbiased presentation of events. We ask that you will find out for yourself these facts, and then make your decision which way to go. A references page is included as well. According to this wonderful book that we call the Holy Bible, the time for the return of the Lord is at hand, so it behooves us to be ready.
So let’s begin...
